Meant what I said to 'er... loved Fred beyond all measure. God, I hope the lad's plan worked, 'cause I don't feature her trying to off us all again.

Everything just seems a bit off as of late, y'know? Bugger. S'pose this means I'm off training detail, which I'm bloody well fine with. Yeah, it sure as hell gave me a spot of purpose there for a bit, but I was hardly enjoying getting pummelled each time. In fact, I'm a trifle sick of being mere muscle at present, and actually had far more fun helping out in the lab. Folks seem surprised I can actually operate a computer, which makes me feel rather a bit indignant.

So, yeah. Solutions for stopping the end of the world welcome as always, 'cause from what I've heard, peaches is acting a bit... off.

Hey, I have to say, You are the one dealing with ...erm... Illyria's uh, visit the best out of the group. And I must say, I was very impressed that you can land a punch on the girl. You showed her!

And I'm not surprised you know how to operate a computer. You're smart and they aren't *that* hard to figure out.

And I'm sure there are many.. hehe... perks to being Illyria's pet.

You could still do the training thing...someone would probably want to find out how much has changed about her blueness, and since you were the one figuring out how much she had before? You seem like the most logical person for the job.

You'll probably get pummelled less now. ;)

Yeah, at least now she can't cheat with the time shifts no more ;-)

I bet Gunn can relate. Just don't make any deals with the SP, Spike. You're smart enough. You wouldn't want to be an attorney, anyway. (Although, the thought of you in Armani....and your style of arguement....well, that's enough of that...*fans self*)

Every indication is that her powers have been diminished. Our continual existence and that of the entire coastline both constitute evidence of this fact. I cannot hope to foretell her choices in the future, but I believe she understands that my actions were to save her.

Solutions... Yes, solutions. I should return to my office, continue my research.

Please do, mate. Er, although you seem a trifle... intense about it. Get a bit of a fresh air, if you got the time.

Intense? Not at all. It is simply that there is much to be examined, studied, translated and retranslated, with details to map out and cross-reference and then re-examine for what might have been missed, book upon book, prophecy upon prophecy, piling up in a manner akin to the Tower of Babel until we might climb it to see the solution and...

...

Sorry. Must get back to work.

Right. Sure. You're not gettin' overly intense at all.

Realize you can't do this yourself, but while the coastline is there and the sun is shining, someone should take Wes to the friggin beach..Man needs some serious decompression.

Can't help ya there, but rumor has it that the Washington D.C. metro area is supposed to experience an apocalypse today. So far, it's been relatively quite.

So, yeah. Solutions for stopping the end of the world welcome as always, 'cause from what I've heard, peaches is acting a bit... off.

I've come to a few conclusions about apocolypses (apocolypsi?). General advice.

1. Pointy metal things often come into play, so I'd suggest sharpening a few axes, swords, and the like. Oddly, guns tend to do extremely little, so avoid them... unless we're talking about the actual Gunn.

2. Angel, though most likely well-intentioned even while acting "a bit... off," has, unlike Buffy, never beaten an apocolypse alone. I'd strongly suggest if he decides to go off on some martyr's mission and bravely/heroically/stoically/broodingly/tragically tells everybody else to leave the fighting to him, the whole lot of you ignore him unless you all want to die.

3. Building off that last one, there's strength in numbers. Everyone over there has different talents that might come into play: Lorne's empathic powers, Gunn's ability to find loopholes, Wes's research capabilities, Angel's history with W&H, your adaptability, Harmony's... Harmony's... hmm. Well, I suppose if the apocolypse in question is being caused by a fairly human-looking heterosexual male human/demon, she'd at least be a major distraction. No one of you would probably get out alive, but maybe all of you would together.

4. Finally, a checklist of things that have come in handy in the past: someone who knows CPR, very ugly Pre-Columbian art, several tons of charcoal briquettes, CGI doves, extremely complicated DNA-based loopholes, cracked kindergarten art supplies, jewelry so tacky the Home Shopping Network would turn it down, and badly stained laundry covered in no-longer-a-god blood and Clorox. Conclusion: weird stuff comes in handy in an apocolypse. Your Weetabix may very well hold the key to saving the universe.

All very good points here, especially 2 and 4.
Also Spike's skills with a video game may come in handy also.
This goes with 1 and 4, a nice, wicked looking knife,& a zip-line with belt attachment.
Also, other stuff that has stopped an apocolypse. Blood, and witchy mojo. Who knows belly button lint may be the key to this one. It seems everything else has managed to avert one, why not this?
