I thought you might appreciate this, being of a poetic nature yourself. Somehow it seems to sum up the current mood, and the last five lines remind me of you especially Spike:

I'm in! I also have my own arsenal of knives and guns, enough of them that if yours or any one else's weapons get broken or taken away that you can borrow one of mine. Well they're not exactly mine, but I'm sure that my husband wouldn't mind letting you and the guys use them, since you will be saving the world and all. The only thing I don't have is armor, or shields, but hey what's an apocolypse if there isn't any danger?

Listen closely, all you, because I'm only going to say this once.

You can be metaphorically in, but stop offering us your weapons or pledging to fight alongside Spike, because it's JUST NOT HAPPENING. Stop trying to break through the anti-fangirl shield: it is impenetrable and we really don't appreciate cleaning the guts off it when it zaps people.

There is no way for you to join this fight. This is our fight and our fight alone. Send us lots of good wishes, but quit volunteering to join.

Quit talking about it, as a matter of fact, unless you want certain people to find out about it and do us some real damage.
